Remodel

Valleybrook

Dallas, Texas

This home was solid, but the new owners wanted updates to make it work better for them.

In the main living areas, we reinforced the structure to add beams, upgraded the lighting, and rebuilt the built-ins for a cleaner, more modern finish. The goal was to keep what worked while improving function and durability.

The master suite saw the biggest changes. The original bathroom was completely reworked to include a sauna, steam shower, and cold plunge tub—built for both comfort and recovery.  In the bedroom, we updated the fireplace, installed new flooring, and added modern doors leading to the study, giving the space a solid, refined finish.

Before

In the master bedroom, the vaulted ceiling had potential but felt underwhelming, and the outdated finishes didn’t do the space any favors. It needed more depth, better lighting, and a stronger presence. The master bathroom's layout was functional but uninspired, missing the kind of features that turn a primary bath into something built to last. It was time to rethink the space and bring in upgrades that made sense. In the living areas and kitchen, the antiqued paint finishes and sparse overhead lighting made these large open spaces feel dark. The large vaulted ceiling was begging for some additional detail.
